While doing time in prison, Pedro Cajias discovered more than just punishment. He had the unique opportunity to improve his nutrition and health, besides experiencing congenial companionship. Troubled by his imminent release, he got a watchdog as a present and the animal became his silver lining as he built a new life. Pedro now has a home, a piece of land and his own corner to watch the stars.
