As an actor in Italy before WW2 and a waiter at a New York restaurant for nearly 30 years, Nello de' Rossi moved to Brazil during the 1970's. He settled in São Paulo and opened his own restaurant in the bohemian district of Pinheiros. His establishment soon became a hit and he established his career as an actor, filmmaker and producer. Nello himself tells his story alternating between his restaurant business and filmmaking.
