As war refugees, Iraqi Palestinians have sought safety in the desolate Al Rweished refugee camp, on the border between Jordan and Iraq. One hundred and seven of these refugees were accepted in Brazil. The film follows 48 hours in the life of these future immigrants to the country and shows that in spite of the forced dispossesion of their homes in this barren soil-less area where nothing seems to grow, their farewells are always full of tears.othing appears to grow, their farewells will be sad. They will leave behind their relatives, friends, pets and a memory filled past. Nine months later, five of these refugees are living in different parts of Brazil, and the film focuses on their adaptation problems, their fear of not seeing their family and homeland again, and the uncertainties and hopes for their new future.
