Continuing his investigations into the thin line between the so-called "truth" and performance in acting, which was the focus of his previous film "Playing", Brazilian doc maker Eduardo Coutinho now turns his attention to drama and documents the rehearsals of the Galpão Theater Company, from the city of Belo Horizonte, for the play "The Three Sisters" by Anton Chekov directed by Brazilian actor and director Enrique Diaz. As he shoots scenes from the play, Coutinho shares with his audience the magic unfolding a mystery. His ubiquitous camera tries to capture the very moment in which reality becomes fiction and vice-versa, either through the actors' bodies or words, in full shots and backstage scenes of a performance that will be on film but not on stage.
