once again. Since its founding, the Festival has
been screening the most acclaimed documentary
films worldwide.
By depicting facts, situations, and real-life stories,
documentaries have gained increased importance
and visibility. They serve both as an
instrument for social change and for advancing
relevant causes.
Within this context, It’s All True has established
itself as a privileged showcase for non-fictional
production, and over the years has shown a
variety of authors, realities, styles, and aesthetics
from various parts of the world. In its 14th
edition, the Festival has evolved as the premier
vehicle for the dissemination of documentaries
to Brazilian audiences.
For this reason, the Festival adds to other film exhibitions
sponsored by Centro Cultural Banco do
Brasil to stimulate the creation of a critical and
informed audience and offer affordable, quality
cultural activities for all.
