Successful partnerships are always a reason for
pride. And proud is exactly how we, Cinemark
Brazil, feel to extend our partnership for a third
time with It’s All True, one of the largest festivals in
Latin America dedicated to the exhibition of documentary
films. In this 14th edition of the Festival,
we have broadened the scope of our support, and
in addition to our auditorium at São Paulo’s Eldorado
Mall, we are also screening the program films
at our Rio de Janeiro movie theater complex in
Barra’s Downtown Shopping Mall.
As the largest movie exhibitor in Brazil, Cinemark
has once again allocated to It’s All True part of
the funds from the 2008 Projeta Brasil project –
a pioneering initiative undertaken yearly by Cinemark
to encourage Brazilian film production.
All the proceeds generated by Projeta Brasil are
invested throughout the subsequent 12 months
in awards, support for festivals and other projects
of relevance for the dissemination of audiovisual
production made in Brazil.
We hope this edition of It’s All True is as successful
as the previous ones, and that viewers may fully
enjoy this year’s program featuring top documentary
films. We look forward to joining the Festival
again next year to offer audiences from São Paulo
and Rio de Janeiro more top-notch quality films.
