For the fourth consecutive year, CPFL Energia sponsors
another edition of It’s All True – International
Documentary Film Festival. As well as proudly
supporting the Festival, which today serves as a
global reference for the dissemination of knowledge
and information on documentary films, we
continue to offer the largest Brazilian incentive
award to this film genre – the CPFL ENERGIA /
IT´S ALL TRUE Award “A Window to Contemporary
Documentary”. The award is granted to the
best medium-length and feature films produced
in Brazil during the year.
Our success in maintaining our partnership with It’s
All True, especially in these times of global financial
crisis, reflects the central role that culture and arts
play in CPFL Energia’s institutional positioning. To
us, investing in culture has a much broader scope
than merely funding the local cultural and artistic
production. It means understanding culture as the
key structuring element of the globalized world.
Our wide-ranging cultural program – the CPFL
