When she was 22, young Bolivian Marisa left her two small children with her parents and immigrated to Israel, planning to stay there for two years. She ended up staying 15 years, during which she worked night and day as a cleaner, saving every penny to send to her family, along with instructions for building a house for her and her kids. When she returns to Bolivia as a mature, emancipated woman, even considering a new marriage, she finds out that her expectations were betrayed.
