In December 2003, a strong earthquake transformed the city of Bam, in Southern Iran, in a pile of ruins, killing nearly one third of its inhabitants. Wandering about in the ruins, the camera captures the intimacy of survivors, engaged in the attempt of recovering from an inevitable feeling of loss.
