The project of Dutch artist Constant (1920-2005) for the construction, not yet made, of a utopic future city, the New Babylon – a basic, collective structure where people would be rid of exhausting work and would be able to both share spaces as well as keep some places private. The artist himself analyses the historical role of the city and gets thrilled about the possibility of men becoming nomadic again.
