Founded eight years ago as the most modern factory of coke blast furnaces, Kaiserstuhl, on the valley of the Ruhr river, is being disassembled. Obsolete for the present stage of the German industry, it was bought by a Chinese entrepreneur who plans to rebuild it in his home country. The cultural shock between a small group of German clerks and the army of Chinese workers who arrive for the disassembling works reveals a subtle cross-cultural battle that takes
place behind the globalization eagerness.
