United in prison during the military rule, three characters reassess their stories and the meaning of their encounter. They are Portuguese political prisoner and former priest Alípio de Freitas and two common inmates, André Borges – who was given amnesty along with the political prisoners -, and William da Silva Lima, whose name is related to Comando Vermelho and is still in jail.
