Since 1993, nearly 500 women have been brutalized and murdered in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, on the US border. Almost all of them were young workers who came to town to work in one of its factories. Over the years, relatives of the victims, among whom there are even children, have come together to demand action to end the crimes and punish the perpetrators. Local authorities are seeking to reduce the number of deaths, but can no longer hide the truth about this tragedy - a clandestine alliance between organized crime and corrupt police officers, who act with impunity as though they were masters of life and death of the town's women.
