Four Paraguayan peasant families do their everyday chores. Men, women and children interact among themselves and the environment where they live, drawing their sustenance from nature. They share tasks but also a mutual conviviality including accounts in Guarani language of their problems and dreams, as well as silences and quiet contemplation. The camera becomes "invisible" and a part of the common space, depicting with striking simplicity and in real time the small and great battles of these people's daily lives. People who ignore their utopias and lost wars without sacrificing harmony and lyricism.
