Seven women who became guerrilla fighters in Uruguay in the 60's and 70's as members of the Tupamaro urban guerrilla movement reassess their experiences. They recall their entry into the group, their training and militancy, in a revolutionary struggle that grew increasingly violent involving bank robberies, kidnappings and deaths. One of the women recalls her moral dilemma of killing a man who had accidentally discovered their hideout. On recollecting the high human cost they and their families had to pay at the height of repression against the movement, which led its members to endure prison and torture, the film provides elements for a political and ethical review of those days.
