The creation of Xingu National Park, an Indian reserve in the heart of Brazil, is reassessed by Indians and anthropologists. Nearly 50 years after this initiative was implemented with the decisive help of Brazilian indigenists and fieldmen Cláudio and Orlando Villas-Bôas, the elder Indians have not forgotten their original lands they left behind. Some want to return to their former villages.
