And while hippies were chanting peace and love, the Vietnam War devastated lives.The playwright and former Czech president Vaclav Havel, filmmaker Milos Forman, artist Ed Ruscha, photographer William Klein, actor Dennis Hopper, and director Peter Brook, among others, tell how they lived in that unique and unforgettable time period.
