Structured as a poetic essay, Cláudio Pazienza's documentary weaves together personal stories of his recently deceased father, a very pronounced physical presence in his earlier films. The director's own impressions, feelings and hesitations permeate the images taken at his family home, where Pazienza wears his father's clothes and observes his personal objects. Places and people are juxtaposed as a surrealist collage in an effort to capture that moment's fragmented perception. This intimate journey is interspersed by hunting scene shots that conjure up ancestral rituals, mythical figures and present notions underlying the collective unconscious since the dawn of man.
