An independent region in the heart of Africa until the 19th century, when it was annexed to Sudan, Darfur is a victim of a silent genocide. In the last four years, 250,000 people are estimated to have died of starvation and 3 million have lost their homes or lands. The documentary follows the characters behind this dilemma.
