XIII VISIBLE EVIDENCE Visible Evidence is an international colloquium dedicated to the documentary culture in film, video and other media. Analyses and discussions reach a broad field, which include culture, esthetics, ethnography, history, pedagogy, sociology, politics and other areas of knowledge. The first conference took place at Duke University, USA, in 1993. Other conferences were held at the University of Southern California, Harvard University, Northwestern University, San Francisco State University, University of Wales, in Utrecht, Brisbane, Marseille, Bristol and Montreal. This first South American edition of Visible Evidence will be sponsored and organized by It's All True – International Documentary Film Festival , International Conference on Documentary and the University of Sao Paulo. It will be co-organized by Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos, Universidade de Campinas, Universidade Federal Fluminense and Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro. |
