 Arquitetura Imaginária Imaginäre Architektur Imaginary Architecture Hartmut Bitomsky Alemanha - Germany, 58 min, cor, vídeo, 1993 Hans Scharoun construiu casas nas quais mostra não apenas essência estrutural e formas estéticas mas também a forma como seres humanos deveriam viver em edificações. Esta descrição só pode ser imaginária - como ler textos invisíveis nas paredes. Hans Scharoun has built houses which show not only structural substance and aesthetic forms but also how human beings should live in buildings. This depiction can only be imaginary - like reading invisible writing on walls. O Complexo VW Der VW Komplex The VW Complex Hartmut Bitomsky Alemanha - Germany, 91 min, cor, 35mm, 1989 A fábrica da VW é um museu de tecnologia industrial, e, ao mesmo tempo, é a sua utopia. Os velhos edifícios da fábrica transmitem a mesma sensação de se estar em uma catedral. Os novos edifícios, entretanto, possuem um pé-direito menor. The VW factory is a museum of industrial technology, and at the same time it is its Utopia. The old factory buildings convey the impression of almost like being in a cathedral. The new buildings, however, are much lower. São filmes profundamente hipócritas e tem a intenção de dissimular quais funções foram a eles atribuídas. The film is composed of excerpts from more than 30 documentary films that were made and shown in the period between 1933 and 1945 Those films are profoundly hypocritical and their intention is to conceal which function has been assigned to them.
