A Brazilian who immigrated to London for a better life, Karl Max de Almeida gets by as a motorcycle messenger - a profession in which 90% of the workers are illegal Brazilians. Reluctant to look for a less dangerous job, he drives through the city streets and takes care of his wife and young daughter, who was born in 2009.
