The result of an expedition to the Upper Solimões river (in the Amazon), which provided video, photography, and circus workshops to several riverside communities, this film captures images of a broad world of great beauty, but in which predatory economic exploitation has left its mark. Current discussion in these communities is focused on sustainable development, but this also meets opposition from some residents who believe its concepts are from outsiders. At the same time, the film incorporates footage from the locals themselves made with the latest technology, offering their own way of portraying their dreams and challenges faced with the specificity of a complex and constantly changing reality.
