Until 1990, the town of Ribeirão Vermelho, in the state of Minas Gerais, was the site of one of the largest railroad centers of the state. Around a thousand people worked there, where hundreds of passengers travelled every day. Twenty years later only ruins remain. Even so, 70 year-old José dos Santos does not give up on running his Station Bar, which opens its doors at dawn every day.
