The new final deadline for international submissions aiming It’s All True 2012 is December 17, 2011. The festival takes place simultaneously in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with selections touring other Brazilian states every year. It's All True 2012 will happen from March 22 to April 1.

It’s All True – International Documentary Film Festival is the leading event exclusively devoted to non-fictional cinema in South America. Founded in 1996 by film critic Amir Labaki, the festival presents around 100 titles, in competitive programs for Brazilian and International short and features/medium-lenght documentaries, the Latin American Focus, the informative section State of Things, Retrospectives and Special Screenings.
