A work that criticized the military dictatorship, “Manhã Cinzenta” (1969) was used as a pretext for the imprisonment and torture of Olney São Paulo (1936-1978). Re-appropriated images from the only remaining copy of the short are used in several forms for this documentary, uniting different memories in the voices of interview subjects who watch the film almost 40 years after its completion.
