Starting with the testimonies of four members of the Abuelas de la Plaza de Mayo, this animated documentary retells the history of the movement, which unites relatives of pregnant women who were ‘disappeared’ during the Argentinean military dictatorship (1976-1983). For more than 30 years they have struggled to find their grandchildren, born in prisons with their identities changed to be given to adoptive families.
