In 2005, the Israeli government built a wall in the middle of Bil’in, a small town of the West Bank with 1,700 inhabitants. The objective was to “protect” the neighboring community of Modi’in Illit, a settlement with the capacity to shelter 150,000 Jewish Israelis. Coinciding with the birth of his fourth son, Gibreel, one of the residents of Bil’in, the farmer Emad, buys a camera to start a non-violent mobilization to fight for the possession of his lands and at the same time maintain a peaceful co-existence with the Jewish people. His footage, which often puts him at risk facing Israeli soldiers, allows him to follow not only the growth of his son, but also the comings and goings of this conflict that still has no solution.
