The writer and screenwriter Jean-Claude Carrière starts a course in Colombières-sur-Orb, his hometown in the French countryside, that will take him to Paris, New York, Mexico and India. Travelling in the time and space of his own life, this inspired storyteller reconstructs the footsteps of some of the essential characters of his memories, like the English theater director Peter Brook, Czech filmmaker Milos Forman and also the waiter of a Mexican hotel, where he often stayed with the Spanish director Luis Buñuel – with whom he collaborated professionally for over 30 years, writing films with him like “Belle de Jour” (67) and “The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie” (72).
