On 24 March, 1976, the day of the last military coup in Argentina, the press was called for a conference in which journalists, unable to ask questions, heard the statement of 21 year-old Miriam Pillellensky, member of the Ejército Revolucionario del Pueblo (ERP), in which she expressed regret. Thirty-five years later, Miriam, who now lives in Israel, tells her striking story, marked by torture, rape, prison and a period in hiding under a false name in Paraguay, where she was helped by then priest, now president of the country, Fernando Lugo.
