This is a film-essay that recreates filmmaker Rogério Sganzerla’s ideas through recurring symbols of his work: Orson Welles, Noel Rosa, Jimi Hendrix and Oswald de Andrade, who are considered the pillars of his thinking. The creative method, the musicality of his gaze, the innovative editing style, the duo with actress and partner Helena Ignez that revolutionized the mise en scène of cinema, the partnership with Júlio Bressane at Belair production company and the author’s iconoclast attitude run through the film in a language that is contaminated by the artist’s dizzying diction. Narrated in first person with rare images and scenes recreated today with key characters from his filmography.
