Bill Nichols With a career dedicated to film and art education and research, Bill Nichols has taught at San Francisco State University and Queen’s University, where he was the co-founder of the Film Archive. He has also written ten books, including “Engaging Cinema: An Introduction,” and acted as senior consultant for the American Film Institute.

Marek Hovorka Trained in Documentary Studies at the Film and Television School of the Academy of Fine Arts Prague, Marek Hovorka is the director of five short and mediumlength films. He is founder and director of the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in the Czech Republic, the biggest festival of its kind in Eastern Europe.

Yoav Shamir Israeli filmmaker and director of photography. Among the documentaries he had directed are “Checkpoint” (2003), best doc at IDFA and opening film at It’s All True 2004, and “Defamation”, awarded at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.
