Ana Maria Magalhães
Brazilian actress and film director.
Before becoming a filmmaker, she acted
in films by Nelson Pereira dos Santos,
Cacá Diegues, Hector Babenco and
Glauber Rocha. She directed her first
documentary in the '70s, "Mulheres de
Cinema," then made "Final Call" (an
episode of the international production
"Érotique"), the fiction film "Lara" and
the documentary "Reidy a construção da
utopia." She recently acted in Manoel de
Oliveira's "The Strange Case of Angélica".

Sérgio Tréfaut
Tréfaut was born in Brazil in 1965 and
studied philosophy at Sorbonne (Paris
I). Based in Portugal, he has worked as
journalist and producer. He has also
directed documentaries like "Outro
País" (1999), "Fleurette" (2002) and
"Lisboetas" (2005), which is the most
commercially successful documentary
in Portugal. Until 2010 he directed the
international festival DocLisboa and
presided on the Associação Portuguesa
de Documentaristas (Apordoc).

Ugo Giorgetti
OBorn in São Paulo, Giorgetti is a
director, producer and screenwriter.
After working in advertising for some
years, he dedicated himself to film,
dividing himself between fiction and
documentaries. His documentaries
include "Uma outra cidade - Poesia e
vida em São Paulo nos anos 60" (2000)
and "Pizza" (2005), both for TV Cultura.
His fiction films include "Festa" (89) and
"Sábado" (94). He is currently finishing
"Na Corda Bamba."
