Special Programs The Language of Cinema - Brazilian Filmmakers Geraldo Sarno Brazil/ RJ 8 episodes, COLOR, VIDEO, 2000/ 2001 TV series produced by Riofilme and Saruê Filmes Filmmaker Geraldo Samo, who is the theme of the Brazilian Retrospective of this edition of "It's All True", is currently involved with the "The Language of Cinema" project, consisting of five digitally recorded series of 11 programs each, standing as a general introduction to the knowledge of the language of cinema. The first of the five series, which is in the production stage, focuses on the creative processes of Brazilian filmmakers. The next series will deal with the critical history of cinema, the cinematographic statement, the use of the techniques of filmic expression, and the theories of cinema.
